Grew earns USCAA Women’s Golfer of the Week honors

PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University junior Ava Grew earned USCAA Women's Golfer of the Week honors, the association announced Tuesday.

Grew (Irwin, Pa./Hempfield Area HS) tied for first place with a score of 83 to lead the Celtics to a first place team score of 364 at the AMCC Invitational, hosted by Penn State Altoona at Sinking Valley Country Club Oct. 5.

It was the second time the team came in first place at an invitational this fall.

The women's team travels to State College for the USCAA Championship Oct. 14-15.
