WASHINGTON, Pa. --- Washington & Jefferson College dominated Carlow University women's soccer, 8-0, in a nonconference contest Wednesday.
The Presidents (8-2-3, 3-1-2 PAC) allowed the Celtics (0-7-3, 0-3-1 AMCC) just two shots on goal, out-shooting Carlow, 45-2, on the night.
Goalkeeper Kylee Pry once again came up with double-digit saves, making 10 stops in 45 minutes of action. Lyndsey Szekely started the second half in net and tallied six saves.
W&J held a 10-0 corner kick advantage.
The Presidents scored early, with goals at 5' and 20'. They tacked on two more goals before halftime in the 40th and 45th minutes to take a 4-0 lead into intermission.
W&J added back-to-back goals at 55' and 60' and notched two more at 71' and 77' to end the game.
Sydney Hoover had two goals and an assist, while Makenna Mann recorded a goal and two assists.
The Celtics hit the road for a 2 p.m. AMCC match at Wells (N.Y.) College Saturday.
