St. Joseph Athletic & Fitness Center

The St. Joseph Athletic and Fitness Center is located on the upper level of the Carlow campus, and is home to the men's and women's volleyball teams. 

Built in 1929, St. Joseph’s Hall serves as the Carlow Celtic’s athletics headquarters as well as the university’s fitness and wellness center. 

In 2018, the University began an $8 million renovation to improve the historic 27,275 square-foot building in order to accommodate growing enrollment and to provide modern upgrades for the athletic and fitness center.

The University held a ribbon-cutting for the newly renovated space on June 6, 2019.
