Bio

Karina Graziani joined the staff as the part-time Sports Information Director in the Fall of 2018. She was hired full-time in February 2019 as the SID, and was named the Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Communications in July 2021.

She was named River States Conference SID of the Year for the 2020-21 season.

Graziani got her start in sports communications under the tutelage of Kevin Taylor at Point Park University in 2015. At the time, she was the administrative assistant in the Department of Athletics when she took on softball, women’s soccer and cheer & dance coverage for the Pioneers.

She oversaw the design and implementation of a new Athletics website for Carlow that launched prior to the 2020 season.

Graziani manages the department’s website, social media accounts, and game day coverage for Carlow’s 15 varsity programs.

In addition to her sports communications duties, Graziani is also responsible for hiring game day crew and the day-to-day operations of the department, including transportation/logistics and other administrative duties that keep the office running smoothly.

Graziani earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Waynesburg University (’09) and a master of arts degree in journalism and mass communication from Point Park University (’13).

She was born and raised in Confluence, Pa. and currently resides in Brighton Heights on Pittsburgh’s North Side.
