Louis Zadecky joined the Celtics in August 2021 by way of Pennsylvania State University's Fayette campus where he was Director of Athletics for seven years.

Zadecky brings 25 years of collegiate and high school coaching and teaching experience to the position. Prior to his post at Penn State Fayette, he led the Penn State Greater Allegheny women's basketball team for four seasons, where he was named 2013-14 Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) Coach of the Year.

His experience with the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) – of which Carlow is a member – stems from not only his PSUAC involvement, but also from hosting the USCAA men's and women's basketball championships during his tenure at Penn State Fayette.

While at Penn State Fayette, Zadecky was instrumental in growing the department from 73 to 120 student-athletes. His involvement on various national and campus committees, as well as spearheading numerous academic and community initiatives at Penn State Fayette dovetailed

Zadecky earned his undergraduate degree in health and physical education from Edinboro University and a Master of Science in sports management from California University of Pennsylvania.

"I look forward to working with the student-athletes, coaches and athletics staff to continue to build on Carlow's traditions and values through strong academic and athletic performance and having a positive impact on the campus and community," Zadecky added.
