Rocket League team records first ever sweep over Robert Morris University

PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University's Rocket League team recorded its first sweep over Robert Morris University Friday night.
Game 1
Robert Morris opened scoring in game one at 4:37, but Brady Fest drew even for Carlow with a goal at 4:20 to make the score 1-1 all.
Fest then scored a nice aerial goal finishing a layup to himself off the back wall to take Carlow up 2-1 at 3:35.
RMU tied it up at 2:45, and AJ Nguyen came up with a nice save and a shot on goal shortly after. After about a minute of even play, Fest was able to break free and take Carlow up 3-2 with 37 seconds remaining in regulation.
With just five seconds to play, Carlow capped the win in game one with an insurance goal by Fest taking the final score to 4-2.
Game 2
RMU struck first again in game two with a nice goal at 4:19 to go up 1-0.
Isaiah Solomon finished a nice feed from Fest to draw even at 3:15, and Fest added another at 2:59 to take the Carlow lead to 2-1.
The Colonials took just 18 seconds to respond and equalize on a breakaway goal making it 2-2.
It was back-and-forth action from both sides until there was just under one minute left, as Fest scored once more to take Carlow up 3-2 with 58 seconds remaining.
The Celtics were able to hold off RMU and earn the win with the final score, 3-2. Solomon had three shots and Fest tallied four to lead the Celtics to victory.
Game 3
The score was even through the first 2:30, despite Nguyen and Fest each putting quality shots on goal.
At 2:01 Fest scored to break the ice. Thirty-nine seconds later, Fest and Nguyen combined on a booming shot on goal. Fest was credited with the goal that put the Celtics ahead, 2-0.
The Colonials broke up the clean sheet with a goal off a baseline cross at 0:51.
Carlow had a few big clears and a final attempt at a goal as time expired with the score remaining 2-1 to earn the game three win.
The Celtics face Cleveland State University for an 8 p.m. match Nov. 3.
