Men's Basketball burned by NCAA DII Tiffin on the road

It was Tiffin's first win of the season as the Celtics dropped to 1-8 overall.

Nehemiah Brazil went 4 for 6 from the foul line to lead Carlow with 10 points – all of which he scored in the span of 17 minutes in the first half.

The Dragons (1-4) held the remainder of the team to single-digit scoring.

Tiffin jumped out to a 17-4 lead to start the game.

The Dragons led by 18 points with under five minutes remaining in the half and took a 20-point advantage into halftime.

Tiffin went on an 11-2 run to open the second half and did not let up, scoring another 46 points to run away with the win.

The Dragons held a narrow 38-32 margin in rebounding, but scored 45 points off 28 Carlow turnovers on the night.

Tiffin shot 55.2 percent (37 for 67) from the field and scored 52 points in the paint to the Celtics' 28.

Carlow travels to Walsh University for a 12 p.m. game today.
