Brazil earns AMCC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. --- Carlow University men's basketball guard Nehemiah Brazil earned Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week honors, the league announced Monday.

The senior from Pittsburgh, Pa. led the team with 19 points in a 71-70 win over Pitt Greensburg Dec. 18. Brazil landed a three-pointer to tie the game at 68-all with 20 seconds remaining in regulation to help keep the Celtics in the game as Carlow secured its first AMCC victory of the season.

The Celtics return to the hardwood in the new year with a 2 p.m. game at Fairmont State Jan. 2.
