Comforti earns All-American Honorable Mention, three Men’s Basketball athletes named to USCAA All-Academic Team
BUFFALO, N.Y. --- Carlow University men’s basketball guard Riley Comforti was named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American Honorable Mention team, and three athletes earned All-Academic awards, the association announced at its awards banquet March 10.
BUFFALO, N.Y. --- Carlow University men's basketball guard Riley Comforti was named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American Honorable Mention team, and three athletes earned All-Academic awards, the association announced at its awards banquet March 10.
Comforti, a senior from Scottdale, Pa., earned USCAA All-American Honorable Mention honors. He ranked third in the USCAA with a 63.6 field goal percentage. Comforti ranked 13th with an average two steals per game and 14th with an average 6.9 rebounds per game this season.
To be named to the All-Academic team, student-athletes must be sophomores or above with at least a 3.5 overall GPA or higher.
