Men’s Golf concludes Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic tournament

ALTOONA, Pa. --- Carlow University men's golf concluded the second day of the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic, hosted by Penn State Altoona at Sinking Valley Country Club Sunday.

Zach Jubeck made six pars and birdied once on the front nine to lead Carlow with an 86. Jubeck and teammate Christian Rotundo tied for 59th in the tournament overall.

Rotundo and Logan Smith both shot 90s in the second round, securing par on five holes each.

The Celtics ended up 15th out of 15 teams in the tournament.

Penn State Altoona's 'A' team won the tournament with a two-day score of 599, while Penn College's Peyton Mussina shot one under to take home the individual title.

Up next for the Celtics is the La Roche Invitational Oct. 2.
