Men’s Golf concludes first round of AMCC Championship

INDIANA, Pa. --- Carlow University men's golf completed the opening round of the 2023 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship with a team score of 393 Monday.

Nine teams and 44 golfers battled breezy and chilly conditions at par-71 Indiana Country Club.

Christian Rotundo hit six pars on the day to score 85, tying for 19th place.

Zach Jubeck saw three pars and two birdies to card an 86, which landed him tied for 23rd.

Logan Smith tied for 28th with an 88 while also hitting three pars and two birdies, and CJ Lucas shot 134 on the day.

Trey Heffelfinger sits atop the leaderboard with a 71, leading Penn State Altoona to first place with a score of 300.

Day two of the AMCC Championship begins tomorrow morning with a tee time of 9 a.m.
