Men’s Golf battles through inclement weather in AMCC Championship first round

Logan Smith (Ligonier, Pa./Ligonier Valley HS) led the Celtics with three pars on both the front and back nine to card an 86 on the day. Christian Rotundo (Thorold, Ontario, Canada/Denis Morris Catholic Secondary School) tied for 23rd, scoring an 87 with three par and a birdie on 16.
Jack Falkner (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional HS) carded an even 100, and Brady Donovan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Brentwood HS) hit two par to end the day with a 102, helping Carlow to a team score of 375. Logan Connelly (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin HS/St. Vincent College) shot 106 on the day.
Penn State Altoona led all teams with a score of 312, and Mount Aloysius' Josh Nicholl led the pack with a 72.
The Celtics conclude the AMCC Championship with another 18 holes at Butler Country Club tomorrow.
