Men’s Golf tees up spring season at Grove City Invitational

The Celtics placed 14th out of 14 teams with a team score of 382.
Logan Smith (Ligonier, Pa./Ligonier Valley HS) birdied on the 16th and recorded eight par to lead Carlow with an 87 on the day.
Brady Donovan (Pittsburgh, Pa./Brentwood HS) sank four par to card a 93, and Christian Rotundo (Thorold, Ontario, Canada/Denis Morris Catholic Secondary School) scored a 97 with three par.
Jack Falkner (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional HS) rounded out the team score for the Celtics with a 105.
Westminster took home the team title, while host Grove City and Pitt-Greensburg tied for second.
There was a three-way tie for first place individually, but Grove City's Luke Gronbeck came out on top due to a scorecard playoff. Marietta's Kelson McCurdy Zach Huscusson placed second and third, respectively.
The Celtics travel to Geneva March 31.
