CORAOPOLIS, Pa. --- Carlow University men's soccer opened the 2022 season hosting the University of St. Francis (Ind.) at Montour Junction Sports Complex Saturday.

The Celtics fell to the Cougars (3-0-1), 11-0.
St. Francis scored a program record 10 goals in the first half. Three players scored two goals apiece, and the team scored its final goal of the game a little over a minute into the second half.
The Celtics held the Cougars scoreless the remainder of the game but were unable to put any shots on goal.
Gabe Gorsich tallied Carlow's lone shot on goal 10 minutes into the first half, and all three of Carlow's goalkeepers saw time in net.
The Celtics return to action after the holiday break when they host Penn State New Kensington Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. at Highmark Stadium.
