PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University men's soccer stood strong against the University of Pittsburgh Greensburg, but the Bobcats came out on top, 2-0, Sunday at Highmark Stadium.

Greensburg's Caleb Yuricha scored both goals and tallied 10 of the team's 22 shots and half of the Bobcats' shots on goal.

His first attack came just eight minutes into the game off a long pass up the field from Kyle Ryan.

Carlow (1-6) held the Bobcats (3-3-3) scoreless the remainder of the half to stay within striking distance – despite Greensburg out-shooting the Celtics, 13-5.

Janvier Ramson put four of Carlow's six shots on goal, including a bicycle kick in the 55th minute that the Bobcats' keeper managed to deflect. Ramson found his own rebound, but his second shot went wide of the net.

Yuricha scored his second goal in the 57th minute that deflected off Kevin Garcia's outstretched glove and into the net.

Garcia made 10 stops in the complete game effort, including a huge save off the tip of his toe in the 87th minute.

The Bobcats out-shot Carlow, 22-15 (12-6 on goal) and held a 5-3 corner kick advantage.

The Celtics travel to Ohio Christian University for a 5 p.m. River States Conference game Sept. 29.
