CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio --- Janvier Ramson scored a hat trick, but it was not enough to lead Carlow University men's soccer to victory in a 6-3 loss to Ohio Christian University on the road Thursday.

Early scoring should have been an indicator that both teams would put numbers on the board.

Ohio Christian (1-7, 1-2 RSC) scored its first goal just 1:14 into the game, but Ramson quickly evened the score on a feed from Sudesh Tiwari in the seventh minute.

Christopher Crock scored his first of three goals in the 17th minute, and the Trailblazers tacked on another at 42' to lead, 3-1, at intermission.

Crock tallied his next two goals at 50' and 54' to extend OCU's lead to 5-1, but the Celtics (1-7, 0-2 RSC) did not let up.

Zion Graf found Ramson at 56' for his second goal of the evening, and Andrew Bochicchio assisted on Ramson's third goal at 65' to further diminish the Trailblazers' lead.

A penalty kick in the 69th minute was the final push OCU needed, as Carlow put just three shots on goal the remainder of the game.

The Trailblazers out-shot the Celtics, 15-3, in the first half, but Carlow out-shot OCU, 16-7, in the second half.

Ramson tallied 10 of Carlow's 19 shots and James Stone added four.

Kevin Garcia was saddled with the loss after making eight saves in the complete game effort.

The Celtics travel to Bryant & Stratton Rochester Oct. 1 for a 7 p.m. game.
