Men's Soccer settles for a draw at St. Vincent College

Janvier Ramson continued his scoring streak with an early goal for the Celtics (1-8-1). Ramson caught up to a through ball from Launthar Eh and scored in the 10^th minute.

The Bearcats (5-4-3) tied the game just minutes later and gained the advantage in the 24^th minute.

Neither team managed to score the rest of the half, with St. Vincent taking a 2-1 lead into intermission.

Carlow's defense held the Bearcats scoreless the remainder of the game, and Ramson notched his second goal at 79' – a blast from 20 yards out – to tie the score, 2-all. Bryan Pan was credited with the assist.

Ramson tallied 12 of Carlow's 16 shots and four of the Celtics' six shots on goal.

Kevin Garcia made nine stops in the complete game effort.

St. Vincent out-shot the Celtics, 28-15 (11-6 on goal) and held a 6-4 corner kick advantage.

Ramson also scored Carlow's lone goal in a 6-1 loss to Bryant & Stratton College Rochester on the road Saturday.

The Celtics host Indiana University East Thursday, Oct. 6 for a 4 p.m. game at Highmark Stadium.
