Men’s Track & Field competes in season-opener at Youngstown State

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio --- Carlow University men's track & field kicked off the indoor season at Youngstown State University Friday.

Thirty-seven teams and hundreds of athletes from the region shook off the rust at the YSU Icebreaker, held at the Watson and Tressel Training Site.

Senior Bryan Pan tied his personal best time of 7.33 from Feb. 2022 in the 60-meter dash qualifying to place 38th.

CJ Lucas earned a top-15 finish in pole vault with a height of 3.75 meters, and Francis Bochicchio made his track debut with a 5:49.46 mile.

Quincy Fana, Kevin Garcia, Jeb Jordan, Walt Kada and Gavin Moore all had strong showings in their respective events for the Celtics.

Carlow returns to action at the Susquehanna Early Season Multi and Invite Dec. 9.
