Men’s Indoor Track & Field competes at University of Mount Union

ALLIANCE, Ohio --- Carlow University men's indoor track & field competed at the University of Mount Union Jim Wuske Invitational Saturday.

The Purple Raiders hosted 23 NCAA DII and DIII colleges and universities on the day.

The 4x200 relay team of Gavin Moore, Quincy Fana, Walt Kada and Jeb Jordan scored the second best time in school history with a seventh place finish of 1:43.65.

Moore recorded two personal best times in the 60-meter dash preliminaries (7.54) and long jump (5.86 meters). Kada also scored a personal best 4.55 meters in long jump.

Shajit Pokwal and Bryan Pan tallied top-20 finishes in long jump and the 60-meter hurdles preliminaries, respectively. Pokwal leapt 6.16 meters in long jump to land in 17^th place, and Pan ran 9.57 in the 60-meter hurdles to place 18^th in the preliminaries.

Carlow travels to the Marietta Alumni Open Feb. 3.
