Men’s Indoor Track & Field returns from long break to compete at SPIRE
GENEVA, Ohio --- Carlow University men’s indoor track & field returned from a 49-day meet hiatus to compete at the SPIRE Midwest Collegiate Open Saturday.

The Celtics competed against 27 different colleges and universities at the event.
First year athlete Caleb Rogers (Clark, Pa./Sharpsville Area HS) broke his previous school record in weight throw with a distance of 9.26 meters. Shajit Pokwal (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin HS) and Nathan Williams (Ellwood City, Pa./Lincoln HS) landed top 15 marks in triple jump with leaps of 12.43 and 12.04 meters, respectively.
Carlow travels to the University of Mount Union Wuske Invite Feb. 1.
