Men’s Indoor Track & Field lands four top 10 finishes at United East Championship
LANDOVER, Md. --- Carlow University men’s indoor track & field placed fifth of five teams at the United East Championship at the Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex Friday.

The Celtics were without several athletes due to injury or other unforeseen circumstances.
Ryan Hileman (Irwin, Pa./Norwin HS) ran a personal best 9.77 to place fifth in the 60-meter hurdles. Mel Cobbler (Silver Spring, Md./Albert Einstein HS/Morgan State University) placed sixth in the event with a time of 10.04.
Caleb Rogers (Clark, Pa./Sharpsville Area HS) placed eighth in both the shot put and weight throw, with distances of 10.94 and 8.89 meters, respectively.
Jeb Jordan (Johnstown, Pa./Richland HS) competed in the 60 and 200, placing 12th and 13th, respectively.
St. Mary's College of Maryland secured the overall team trophy with a score of 181 points.
