Fenstermaker breaks outdoor school record in shot put at WVU

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. --- Carlow University men's track & field recorded four top-10 finishes, and Ryan Fenstermaker broke the school record in shot put at the West Virginia University Mountaineer Showcase April 21-22.

Fenstermaker's throw of 10.74 meters broke his previous mark of 9.64 meters set on March 25.

Tyhir Royster took third and fourth place in the 200 and 100 respectively, while Shajit Pokwal finished fifth in triple jump with a distance of 12.27 meters.

Bryan Pan placed ninth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:02.81, and Nate Thomas ran a personal best time in the event.

The Celtics compete at the River States Conference Championship April 28-29 in Rio Grande, Ohio.
