Men’s Outdoor Track & Field records four top-10s and three personal bests at Frostburg State

FROSTBURG, Md. --- Carlow University men's track & field kicked off the outdoor season placing fifth of six teams at the Bob Lewis Classic, hosted by Frostburg State University Friday.

The Celtics tallied four top-10 finishes, and three different athletes recorded personal best marks at the meet.

Bryan Pan brought in two top-10 marks with a third-place finish in the 100 (11.46) and a seventh-place finish in the 200 (23.80).

Gavin Moore recorded the other two top-10 results for Carlow with a sixth-place finish in long jump (5.57 meters) and a 10th place finish in the 200 (25.00).

Morgan Shriver was just seven tenths of a meter from tying the school record for outdoor shot put (Ryan Fenstermaker – 10.74 on April 22, 2023) with a personal best throw of 10.05 meters to land 13th in the event.

Sangay Gurung and Walt Kada each scored personal best times in the 200.

Host Frostburg State secured the team title with a score of 284.5.

The Celtics return to action at the Westminster College Invitational April 13.
