Barrera paces Celtics at Run with the Wolves Invite
RICHMOND, Ind. --- Carlow University men's cross country runner Saul Barrera placed 11th at the Indiana University East Run with the Wolves Invite Saturday.
RICHMOND, Ind. --- Carlow University men's cross country runner Saul Barrera placed 11th at the Indiana University East Run with the Wolves Invite Saturday.
Barrera ran the 8K race in 29:52.1 to finish 11th out of 52 runners on the day.
Kevin Sheehan also competed for the Celtics, crossing the finish line at 37:03.1.
The meet was a preview of the River States Conference Championship course, and six RSC schools competed on the day.
Midway won the team award, and Ohio Christian's Drake Dickerson took the individual title with a time of 27:19.3.
Carlow gets to run its "home" course when they compete at the Carnegie Mellon University Invitational Oct. 9 at Schenley Park.
