Men’s Cross Country snags another podium finish
CRESSON, Pa. --- Carlow University men’s cross country picked up another podium spot with a third place finish at the Mount Aloysius College Invitational Saturday.
CRESSON, Pa. --- Carlow University men's cross country picked up another podium spot with a third place finish at the Mount Aloysius College Invitational Saturday.
The team scored a 97 with an average time of 23:11 on the 5k course to land third of six teams on the day.
Byron Gaskins and Quincy Fana led the Celtics with times of 21:40.6 and 21:44.7 respectively.
Oscar Contreras crossed the line at 23:13.3, and Isaiah Stein completed the course in 23:47.2.
Gavin McLain rounded out scoring for the Celtics with a time of 25:31.4.
Pitt Greensburg's Ethan Barrick earned first place with a time of 17:17.3, while Hilbert College took home the team title with a score of 35 and an average time of 19:33.
The Celtics return to action with a "home" race at Schenley Park for the Carnegie Mellon University Invitational Oct. 7.
