Cross Country teams compete in last chance meet at La Roche

It was the final regular season men's and women's cross country meet prior to the USCAA Championship Nov. 12. Both teams featured a slew of runners making their cross country debut.
The men's team took first place in the 5k behind Francis Bochicchio's first-place finish with a time of 20:40. The Celtics captured five of the top-10 spots in the 16-person field.
Walt Kada and Zion Graf tied for second place with a 21:51 finish, while Fana came in fourth a second behind at 21:52.
Bryan Pan finished in 24:48 to place seventh for the Celtics.
Hamadi Mganga, Gavin Moore and Nico Bel all competed in the race for Carlow.
Four members runners competed from the women's team in the 5k against La Roche.
Arley Wilson came in second with a time of 26:12, while Avery Dudek and Hannah Wright finished fourth and fifth respectively with times of 30:33 and 31:16.
Ireland Killen came in sixth with a time of 32:50 in the nine-person field.
Carlow travels to the USCAA Championship, hosted by Penn State Fayette, Nov. 12.
