Men’s Cross Country places second at La Roche Invitational
PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University men’s cross country placed second with a team score of 31 at the La Roche University invitational Friday afternoon.

Francis Bochicchio (Pittsburgh, Pa./Bishop Canevin HS) led the Celtics with a seventh place finish with a personal best 5k time of 19:52.6.
Eric Fowler (Torrington, Conn./Wamogo Regional HS/Roger Williams University) earned a top 10 finish with a time of 20:59.5, and Hunter Brady (Wrightsville, Pa./Eastern York HS) came in 14th out of 34 runners in 21:41.1.
Quincy Fana (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler Area HS) and Logan Alexander (Manchester Twp., N.J./Manchester Township HS) rounded out scoring for the Celtics with times of 21:46.6 and 22:05.9, respectively.
Nat Rosario (Sugarloaf, Pa./Marian Catholic HS) and Devon Dodd (Pittsburgh, Pa./CCAC) completed Carlow's seven-man field.
Wheeling University placed first of three teams with a score of 24 and an average time of 19:21, led by Shane Levesque who placed first overall in 17:07.6.
The Celtics compete in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship at the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds Nov. 2.
