Pierce earns USCAA Softball Player of the Week honors

PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University junior McKenna Pierce was tabbed USCAA Player of the Week, the association announced Tuesday.
On Monday, Pierce also earned AMCC Athlete of the Week honors.
Pierce, a shortstop and catcher from Leechburg, Pa., had a huge week at the plate, going 14-for-24 (.583) with three doubles, a triple and two home runs. She recorded 13 RBI and 10 runs scored as the Celtics went 5-1 on the week.

Carlow hosts Mount Aloysius College for a 6 p.m. AMCC doubleheader May 2.
