Four Women’s Basketball players named to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team

GREENWOOD, Ind. --- Four Carlow University women's basketball athletes were named to the 2023-2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team, the association announced March 26.

To be eligible, student-athletes must be sophomores or above with at least a 3.50 GPA (on a 4.00 scale) or higher. Additionally, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66 percent of the games. Men's and women's basketball accepted four nominations per institution.

The following student-athletes met or exceeded the criteria to earn the distinction:

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Founded in the mid-1950s, the highly regarded Academic All-America® selected by College Sports Communicators program is unquestionably regarded as the premier awards program in intercollegiate athletics for honoring combined academic and athletic excellence.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 16. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.
