Nina Cano (Greenville, Pa./Greenville HS/Grove City College) led the Celtics with 16 points and six rebounds, and Sydney Carr (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin HS) added 10 points and four assists in the effort.
The Bobcats (3-1) sank 18 three-pointers on the night and shot 52.9 percent (36 for 68) from the field against the Celtics (2-3). Wesleyan outrebounded the Celtics 43-14 and scored 47 points off 23 Carlow turnovers. The Bobcats outscored Carlow 42-6 off the bench, with 14 different players seeing time on the court.
The Celtics led 7-4 to start the game before a jumper and an the subsequent and-one foul shot tied the score at 7-all. The Bobcats hit three unanswered treys in a row to take the lead and tacked on three more later in the quarter to go ahead, 25-12. Wesleyan led 52-27 at halftime and outscored the Celtics 51-25 in the second half.
Lojain Elfatairy led the Bobcats with a game-high 19 points, and four other Wesleyan players contributed double figures in the win.
Carlow travels to neighboring Carnegie Mellon University for a 5:30 p.m. game Nov. 26.
