Carr earns AMCC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

Carr, a senior from Pittsburgh, Pa., hit her 1,000th career point in a decisive 74-55 win over Franciscan Saturday.
In Carlow's first game of the week, a narrow one-point loss to Waynesburg, Carr recorded 19 points, six rebounds, four steals and a block. In the win over Franciscan Saturday, she scored 24 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out six assists while adding five steals and another block.
The 5-foot-4 guard averaged 21.5 points, 7.0 rebounds 4.5 steals, 3.5 assists and 1.0 block per game as the Celtics went 1-1 on the week.
Carlow travels to neighboring Carnegie Mellon University for a 5:30 p.m. game Nov. 26.
