Carr named USCAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University women's basketball guard Sydney Carr earned USCAA Player of the Week honors, the association announced Tuesday.

The senior from Pittsburgh, Pa. averaged 17.7 points per game to help the Celtics to a 2-1 record on the week. She tallied 20 rebounds, nine steals and seven assists.

Carr also earned Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week honors this week.

The Celtics host crosstown foe La Roche University for the AMCC Game of the Week at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
