Women’s Golf places second at rainy Grove City Fall Invitational

GROVE CITY, Pa. --- Carlow University women's golf placed second of 11 teams with a score of 383 at the Grove City College Fall Invitational Thursday.

Despite facing inclement weather throughout the match, three Celtics placed in the top-20 out of the 48-person field.

Emilee Miller shot an 88 at the par-72 Grove City Country Club to lead the Celtics.

Ava Grew carded a 95 to place 12th, and Bella Spahr came in 18th with a 98.

Maci Lorigan, Jena Norman and Kennedy Gunn all shot in the low 100s.

Katie Rose Rankin took home the individual title after shooting 6-over-par to help Westminster to a first place team finish with a score of 334.

Carlow heads to the Franciscan University Fall Invitational Saturday.
