Miller, Lorigan finish second, third at USCAA Championship

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --- Carlow University women's golf concluded the final round of the USCAA Championship, held at the Penn State University Blue Course Tuesday.

Junior Emilee Miller held onto her second-place spot, shooting an 83 with a combined tournament score of 167. Teammate Maci Lorigan was right on her heels after carding an 84 both days for a total score of 168.

Bella Spahr shot four strokes better than the first day to land in ninth place with a two-day score of 190, while Ava Grew was 15 strokes better than yesterday, taking 10th place with a score of 197.

Jena Norman also improved her score by 10 strokes, carding a 218 to round out scoring for the Celtics.

Maria Jackson of Johnson & Wales Charlotte took home the individual title with a two-day score of 153.
