Women’s Golf opens fall season with loss to Seton Hill

MCKEESPORT, Pa. --- Carlow University women's golf opened the 2024 fall season with a 349-390 loss to Seton Hill University at Youghiogheny Country Club Saturday.

Emilee Miller (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler Area HS) tied for third and led Carlow with an 89, followed by Maci Lorigan (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong HS) with a 90 on the 6,113-yard course.

Lilli Hope (North Huntington, Pa./Norwin HS) carded a 102 and Ava Grew (Irwin, Pa./Hempfield Area HS) rounded out scoring for the Celtics with a 107.

Ali Boyle led all players with an 84, and teammate Christina McGuiness shot 86 to take the first and second place spots.

The Celtics return to action Sept. 14 at the Franciscan Fall Invitational.
