Lorigan, Miller tied for first after opening round of USCAA Championship
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --- Carlow University women’s golfers Maci Lorigan and Emilee Miller tied for first place at the conclusion of the first round of the USCAA Championship Monday.
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --- Carlow University women's golfers Maci Lorigan and Emilee Miller tied for first place at the conclusion of the first round of the USCAA Championship Monday.
Lorigan (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong HS) and Miller (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler Area HS) both carded an 81 to tie for first place on the par-72 Penn State Blue Course.
Ava Grew (Irwin, Pa./Hempfield Area HS) and Jena Norman (McCandless, Pa./North Allegheny Senior HS) tied for 10th with a score of 102 each.
Following the first round, the USCAA hosted skills contests and Grew won the women's chipping contest.
The Celtics tackle the second round of the USCAA Championship tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
