Women’s Soccer wins second straight Sunday

BRADFORD, Pa. --- Carlow University women's soccer first-year midfielder Arley Wilson tallied both goals in a 2-0 AMCC win over Pitt Bradford on the road Sunday morning.

Carlow (2-7-3, 2-3-1 AMCC) out-shot the Panthers (0-13, 0-6 AMCC), 25-6 (14-4 on goal), and held a 7-2 corner kick advantage.

Goalkeeper Lyndsey Szekely recorded the first clean sheet of her collegiate career with four saves on the day.

Wilson put the Celtics on the board early with an unassisted goal nine minutes into the match.

Hannah Biros found Wilson on a corner kick in the 52nd minute to give Carlow a 2-0 advantage and the win.

Tianna Torles put five shots on target for the Celtics.

Carlow travels to Penn State Altoona for a 4 p.m. AMCC game Oct. 18.
