Women’s Soccer drops USCAA match against Bryant & Stratton Syracuse
PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University women’s soccer lost a 3-1 USCAA match against Bryant & Stratton College Syracuse at Highmark Stadium Monday afternoon.

PITTSBURGH --- Carlow University women's soccer lost a 3-1 USCAA match against Bryant & Stratton College Syracuse at Highmark Stadium Monday afternoon.
The Bobcats (4-3) scored all three goals within the span of seven minutes late in the second half.
Both teams took a 0-0 tie into halftime, with Carlow (3-7-1) striking first in the 66th minute.
Kaitlyn Reap (Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area HS) scored her first collegiate goal with a long shot just outside the 18 to put the Celtics on the board first. A pass meant for a Syracuse player landed at her feet and a quick dribble and long shot got past the keeper in the lower left corner of the net.
The Bobcats evened the scored less than 10 minutes later. A free kick sent into the box found Isabel Panadero Jime in the commotion to tie the game at 1-all in the 75th minute.
Four minutes later, Nicelle Drew got a look at a wide open net to put the Bobcats ahead, 2-1.
Masego Nfandiso struck the Bobcats' final goal at 82' when she went one-on-one with the Carlow defense and made it past to score.
Elizabeth Knight (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin HS) made 10 saves in the complete game effort in goal.
The Bobcats outshot the Celtics 23-10, with 15 shots in the second half alone, and both teams recorded two corner kicks.
Carlow travels to Alfred State College for a 3:30 p.m. AMCC match Oct. 12.
