Tennis falls to Westminster in nonconference action

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. --- Carlow University tennis traveled to Westminster College for a nonconference match Monday.

The Titans (15-5) defeated the Celtics (0-4), 9-0.

Carlow claimed two games in the doubles matches, but Westminster swept the Celtics, 3-0.

Julia Piatt won five games in the No. 2 singles spot, while Jensen Stolitza, Josephine Kobak and Anny Hoang each won three games apiece in singles play.

Carlow returns to action with a 6 p.m. make-up game against Geneva College at Blackhawk High School April 12.
