NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. --- Carlow University women's tennis No. 3 doubles duo of Josie Kobak and Sofia Hernandez earned AMCC Second Team All-Conference honors, the league announced Oct. 17.

Kobak, a senior from Youngstown, Ohio, and Hernandez, a freshman from Monroeville, Pa., posted a 2-1 record together this season.

Hernadez also recorded an additional No. 3 doubles win with teammate Reagan Redford.

The Celtics ended the year 1-7 overall and 1-4 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action.

Pitt-Greensburg senior Emily Ruhlman was just the second women's tennis player in AMCC history to four-peat as Player of the Year (Arica Christman, Penn St. Behrend, 2008-11). Ruhlman never dropped a regular season AMCC match in her time at Pitt-Greensburg. On the season, Ruhlman went 9-2 in singles play.

Penn State Behrend sophomore Tamanna Sharma was named the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Sharma did not lose a singles match in conference play at the No. 2 spot and went 4-1 in doubles action.

Coach of the Year honors went to Pitt-Greensburg head coach Doug Smeltzer for the fourth straight year. Smeltzer led the Bobcats to a regular season title and their third straight conference title.
