Tennis concludes regular season with loss to Saint Vincent
LATROBE, Pa. --- Carlow University tennis concluded the regular season with a 6-1 loss to Saint Vincent College on the road Saturday afternoon.

LATROBE, Pa. --- Carlow University tennis concluded the regular season with a 6-1 loss to Saint Vincent College on the road Saturday afternoon.
Carlow ended the 2024 season 4-6 overall and 2-3 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action. It is the most wins the team has recorded in recent history.
Sunday's match was a repeat of the Sept. 5 home match against Saint Vincent, with the Celtics winning one of the doubles and singles sets.
Julia Piatt (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks HS) and Caitlin McCarthy (Allison Park, Pa./Hampton HS) took No. 1 doubles, 6-4, but the Bearcats (13-3, 5-3 PAC) won the doubles point after winning second and third doubles, 6-3.
Piatt swept her No. 1 singles game to earn Carlow's point on the day, defeating Rachel Zgurich by scores of 6-1 and 7-5.
The AMCC plans to announce all-conference honors later this month.
