Women’s Indoor Track & Field records 10 top-15 finishes at Susquehanna

SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- Carlow University women's indoor track & field recorded 10 top-15 finishes at the Susquehanna Early Season Multi and Invite Saturday.

Christina Smith led the Celtics with a fourth place finish in high jump with a leap of 1.52 meters. Smith was also part of the 4x400 relay team of Ella Cloak, Keri Lechner and Molly Wagner that garnered a fourth place finish with a time of 4:32.86. Her triple jump of 9.55 meters landed her in 15th.

Newcomer Sydney Taylor tied Smith's January 2023 triple jump leap with the sixth best mark in school history. Her jump of 10.26 meters was a personal best and landed her in sixth place. Olivia Miller holds the top five distances in triple jump for the University. Taylor also scored a top-15 spot in long jump with a personal best 4.67 meters.

Wagner ran 8.16 to place ninth in the 60-meter dash, and Lechner placed ninth in the 60-meter hurdles to tally two more top-10 finishes for the Celtics.

Trista Miller and Cloak both earned top-15 finishes in the 200 and 400 respectively, and Lechner landed in 14^th place with a 4.56-meter long jump.

The Celtics return to indoor action in the new year with a meet at Muskingum University Jan. 20.
