Four top-10 finishes for Women’s Indoor Track & Field at Mount Union

ALLIANCE, Ohio --- Carlow University women's indoor track & field recorded four top-10 finishes at the University of Mount Union Jim Wuske Invitational Saturday.

The Purple Raiders hosted 23 NCAA DII and DIII colleges and universities on the day.

The 4x200 relay team of Molly Wagner, Sydney Taylor, Trista Miller and Taylor Charity placed fourth with a time of 1:56.18.

Wagner earned another top-10 spot with a sixth place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.14. She ran 8.13 in the preliminaries and finished 14^th in the 200 with a time of 27.45.

Christina Smith landed in fifth place with a leap of 1.52 meters in high jump, and Taylor earned ninth place in triple jump with a distance of 10.11 meters. Taylor also placed 18^th in long jump with a leap of 4.65 meters, and Laci Schwirian ran 13:11.07 to place 18^th in the 3,000.

Carlow travels to the Marietta Alumni Open Feb. 3.
