GENEVA, Ohio --- Carlow University women’s indoor track & field competed against 29 other colleges and universities at the SPIRE Midwest Collegiate Open Saturday.

The Celtics returned to the track after a 49-day hiatus from events.
Emma Sovich (Freedom, Pa./Ambridge Area HS) achieved a personal best distance in weight throw with a school record toss of 7.87 meters. Mackenna Rankin (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank Valley HS) ran a personal best 13:32.75 in the 3,000, and Molly Wagner (Pleasant Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson HS) raced to a top-15 finish in the 200 with a time of 26.65.
Carlow travels to the University of Mount Union Wuske Invite Feb. 1.
