Women’s Track & Field competes at WVU Stan Romanoski Open to begin outdoor season
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. --- Carlow University women’s track & field started the outdoor season with six top-10 finishes at the West Virginia University Stan Romanoski Open Saturday.

Mya Greschner shattered Olivia Miller's outdoor long jump school record from 2021 with a leap of 5.32 meters that landed her in third place.
Miller also broke her previous school record in the event, placing seventh with a 5.16-meter jump.
Laci Schwirian was just a few seconds shy of breaking the school record in the 5,000-meter race with a time of 20:56.19. Amanda Espy set the original 5k record of 20:42.9 in 2018.
The 4x100 team of Trista Miller, Keri Lechner, Leia Day and Greschner placed fourth with a time of 51.71.
Ella Cloak landed a top-10 finish in the 800, and Olivia Miller and Christina Smith placed third and seventh respectively in high jump.
Up next for the Celtics is the local Carnegie Mellon University Invitational March 24-25.
