Olivia Miller breaks long jump school record, several personal bests set at Mountaineer Showcase

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. --- Carlow University women's track & field recorded 11 top-10 finishes at the West Virginia University Mountaineer Showcase April 21-22.

Olivia Miller broke the school record in long jump, placing second with a leap of 5.47 meters. She also placed sixth in high jump on the day and holds the number two spot in the River States Conference in that event.

Mya Greschner placed fourth in long jump with a leap of 5.35 meters to land third in the RSC standings.

The 4x100 relay team of Trista Miller, Keri Lechner, Taylor Charity and Greschner finished in second place, and Greschner's fourth-place finish personal best time of 1:09.29 in the 400-meter hurdles earned her the number four spot in conference standings.

Julia Ogrodowski threw a personal best 9.93 meters in shot put to land ninth in RSC standings and also tossed a personal best in discus.

Lechner placed eighth in the 400-meter hurdles and ninth in the 200, while Ella Cloak finished 10^th in the 800.

Christina Smith placed eighth in high jump, Leia Day finished sixth in triple jump, Keely Acor placed sixth in javelin and Laci Schwirian ran a personal best in the 1,500.

The Celtics compete at the River States Conference Championship April 28-29 in Rio Grande, Ohio.
