MARION, Ind. --- For the fifth time in her collegiate career at Carlow University, Olivia Miller is set to compete at a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) track & field national championship.
Miller, a graduate student from Bolivar, Pa., will compete in triple jump at the 42nd Annual Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Marion, Ind. May 24-26.
Miller hit the NAIA "B" qualifying mark with a school-record leap of 11.60 meters at the Robert Morris University Mid-Week PR Bonanza April 5. She placed first in the event and punched her ticket to the national championship.
Miller competed for the Celtics from 2017-2021, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in psychology. She returned to Carlow with a COVID year of eligibility to pursue her master's degree in the Physician Assistant program.
During this time, Miller became one of – if not the most – decorated track & field athletes at the University since the program's inaugural season in 2017.
"I wouldn't be the athlete I am today without my coach," Miller said. "Thank you for helping me achieve all of my goals!"
