Women’s Track & Field records seven top-10 finishes at the 54th Annual Sparky Adams Invitational

BEREA, Ohio --- Carlow University women's track & field placed seven in the top-10 at the 54th Annual Sparky Adams Invitational, hosted by Baldwin Wallace University Saturday.

The Celtics competed against 16 other colleges and universities across all three NCAA divisions, placing 12^th as a team on the day.

The 4x100 relay team of Trista Miller, Sydney Taylor, Ella Cloak and Molly Wagner finished third with a time of 51.74.

Wagner placed fourth and fifth in the 100 and 200 with times of 12.65 and 26.28, respectively.

Taylor secured a sixth-place finish in triple jump with a leap of 10.38 meters, and Malina Hall placed 10^th with a distance of 9.40 meters.

Christina Smith and Leia Day placed ninth and 10^th in high jump, both leaping 1.41 meters.

John Carroll University earned first place with a team score of 112 on the day.

Next up for the Celtics is the USCAA Championship April 26 and 27 in Springfield, Mass. Athletes must meet qualifying marks to be entered into their respective events.
