Five Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field athletes named to CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. --- Five Carlow University women's cross country/track & field student-athletes were named to the 2023-2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® team, the association announced June 18.

To be eligible, student-athletes must be sophomores or above with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.00 scale) or higher. Additionally, eligible nominees were based off TFRRS performance list rankings at the time of nomination. The CSC accepted five nominations per institution.

The following student-athletes met or exceeded the criteria to earn the distinction:

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Founded in the mid-1950s, the highly regarded Academic All-America® selected by College Sports Communicators program is unquestionably regarded as the premier awards program in intercollegiate athletics for honoring combined academic and athletic excellence.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 9. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.
