Women’s Track & Field opens outdoor season with four top-10 finishes

The Celtics faced off against 23 other teams from NCAA Divisions I, II and III, landing four top-10 places on the day.
The 4x100 relay team of Trista Miller, Ella Cloak (New Cumberland, Pa./Trinity HS), Sydney Taylor (Castle Shannon, Pa./Keystone Oaks HS) and Molly Wagner led the charge with a fourth place finish in 51.86.
Wagner (Pleasant Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson HS) earned two top-10 finishes in the 200 and 100. In the 200, she placed seventh with a time of 26.91, and in the 100 she placed ninth with a time of 12.98.
Miller (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan HS) placed 10th in the 200 with a time of 28.23.
Mya Waage (Trinity, Fla./J. W. Mitchell HS) threw the fifth best distance (third best personally) in discus with a 15th place throw of 29.55 meters.
Up next for the Celtics is the Carnegie Mellon Invitational March 29.
